RAVEN logo and brand identity

The challenge was to create a logo and brand identity for RAVEN, a local, grass-roots charity that works on behalf of international refugees. The client was keen to use a raven as a visual identifier within the design, but wanted a representation of the bird that could not be seen as threatening or sinister.

Our artists and designers looked at various options around traditional representations of the raven including those from North American folklore. By exploring various possibilities, we were able to create a unique and memorable logo that contained the required visual identifier while matching the friendly, dynamic, empowering image that the charity wanted to project.
